The Association of Packaging Consultants (APC) conducted a one-day technical workshop on the pre-press process, gravure printing cylinder technology and flexographic printing plate technologies on 25 July 2026 at the INGRIN Printing and Graphics Academy.
Delivered in Sinhala, the workshop was designed to make important technical knowledge more accessible to professionals in Sri Lanka’s printing and flexible packaging industry. The programme focused on essential pre-press procedures and the technologies used in gravure and flexographic printing.
Senior machine operators, supervisors, managers and entrepreneurs were given an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of these processes and their importance in achieving efficient production and consistent print quality.
The full-day programme also encouraged knowledge sharing among industry professionals and highlighted the value of continuously developing technical skills in response to the changing needs of the packaging sector.
APC extends its sincere appreciation to the resource persons, organisers, supporting partners and everyone who participated in the workshop. Their contribution and active involvement helped make the programme a valuable learning experience.
The Association of Packaging Consultants remains committed to organising educational and professional-development programmes that support innovation, technical excellence and sustainable growth within Sri Lanka’s printing and packaging industry.
We look forward to welcoming industry professionals to more APC workshops and knowledge-sharing programmes in the future.
